* So that we don't clog up the board with unnecessary information and take up space on my server, I would suggest that members post recipes that are rare, have a personal story attached or have some personal meaning to them. If it is a recipe for something basic like white cake or biscuits or whatever and can be found anywhere else on the web with a quick Google search, I'd rather someone else host it on their server.
* Thank you!

I've had these for long time and pass down to me from my aunt. I felt like sharing them. Sometimes a person just feels like sharing with them. I can see why there would be concern.

Hey Callie, How about a separate section for those of us watching our figures? Say a weight watcher's section which would include some the tastiest weight conscious recipes the forum members can come up with?

I can think of at least a few great recipes to throw in...that will offset a bit all the cake and cookie recipes being posted!

That would be a great idea... I'm always searching for new recipes that help cut daily calorie intake.

Well, I lost 65 lbs in 2005, so I can tell you exactly how I did it, but you won't like it, lol!
No more fast food.
No more sodas (diet, anything, period).
No more coffee.
I ONLY ate a bowl of oatmeal (plain! no honey, no sugar, nothing!) in the am, an apple and orange for brunch, a few slices of lean deli ham with some cheddar cheese in the middle for lunch, a grapefruit or light yogurt for dinner, and for dessert sugar-free jello. (mon-sat)
Then on sunday I ate whatever I want.
I drank only lots of water or crystal light lemonade.
I took a multivitamin (Centrum).
In January I was a sz 16 in stretch jeans, and now in November I am a size 6! I have lost ten sizes and over 65 lbs by eating just as I described above!
Good luck! It takes dedication but it worked for me!

I could do that, except the no coffee part. Not only does it help working third shift, its one of the few things that give me a since of comfort, joy, and contemptment. Needless to say, I love coffee.
