Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I'm really trying to be one of what is seemingly a rare breed, a rational Christian. I honestly am not trying to offend anyone here, since I truly enjoy this forum.

It seems almost all of us have run into bigots claiming to be doing God's work.

Here's my quote I'm trying to live today:

"There have been men before … who got so interested in proving the existence of God that they came to care nothing for God himself… as if the good Lord had nothing to do but to exist. There have been some who were so preoccupied with spreading Christianity that they never gave a thought to Christ." C.S. Lewis

I guy falls off a ship and is floating around in the ocean, he prays to God to save him, a few hours later a ship comes by, hey do you need any help, No thats okay God will save me, okay. A few hours later another ship comes by, hey do you need help, no thats okay God will save me. After a while the man fianlly dies and when he sees God he asks, God why did'nt you save me. God replies, I sent to big ole ships after you, you never got on them!

not exactly word for word, but a quote from Christopher, the little boy telling his father a joke in the movie prusruit of happiness.

Portuguese 210 Million
French 109 Million
German 105 Million
Italian 70 Million
Dutch 30 Million
Afrikaans 6.4 Million
Irish 335,000

These are first language stats, I would defentitily say that French is not a dying language. I would maybe consider Afrikanns and Irish dying languages, both are in danger

What do the numbers indicate?

Why no Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, Indonesian, etc?

shrug Guess I'm more dense than a neutron star today.
