Definately Molly the "razor girl" from William Gibsons cyberpunk novel NEUROMANCER, which is referred to as the hacker bible.

"An attractive woman who appears at first glance to be wearing mirrored sunglasses, her eye sockets are in fact sealed with vision-enhancing mirrored lenses that have been surgically attached to her face, and she has razor-sharp retractable claws underneath her fingernails - ten double-edged blades of four centimeters in length. Her metabolism and reflexes are also artificially heightened, with the tracery of electronic circuitry visible beneath certain areas of her skin, such as near her shoulders. Additionally, she frequently employs a flechette pistol that fires a variety of different rounds, ranging from poisons to explosives."

"A useful contact for dealing with gangs and black market elements, she tends to show little remorse for the opponents she ruthlessly dispatches in the course of her objectives, and in fact shows few deep emotions towards anyone outside of hatred, suspicion or bemused contempt. "

I like her retractable razor claws mostly... i got to stop biting my nails lol

Queen Christina, among others.

[edit: oh, bother. She's not "of legend or fiction". Legendary, perhaps? My bad.]

Hi everybody,

I always admired Towanda from the movie
"Fried green Tomatoes" for her strength,
her courage, her good looks and for her
charmes.

Oh, what a great girl. The actress is Mary
Stuart Masterson. Other great movie of her
is "Pretty in Pink".

Best regards, Svenja

No bad for you at all...she's also been somewhat misunderstood throughout time...those misunderstandings become myths, and myths are close enough to legends for me.

Sometimes I identify with Veronica Franco ; her biography as told today is definitely built upon myths and partial troths, including recent movies...

Sometimes, I feel like Mme DeFarge of "A Tale of Two Cities"

I love Fatima Blush, played by Barbara Carrera. My fave James Bond villain: she could kill someone in cold blood and after just walk around jumping in glee. Seldom I've seen such a character, able to be happy because she was evil, not in spite of it. She's great!

As crazy and absurd as it may sound, I grew up in my late teens and twenties seriously believing that I was the reincarnation of Mary Shelley. Since the time of childhood, I had these dreams about locations near London, Mont Blanc, Pisa, Venezia, etc as well as from the first time I had seen her photo I felt as if I was looking in the mirror to my soul of something that was so familiar to me. The crazy thing was that I had lived in the USSR my entire childhood and never was able in anyway to experience those places. Anyhow, I know that is crazy and I should be locked up as a lunatic for saying that but I would most definitely have to identify in most ways with her.

Lara Croft.

And Angelina Jolie. Yeah, yeah, I know... but she's a legend in my mind.
