* ...and then ask me to delete it later, unless you are willing to
support the forum by subscribing or sending a donation. It really does take time and work for me to remove information you posted if you have a change of heart later.
* If you want to leave the forum, simply do not sign in. There's no magic button I press that "removes" you from the forum, except for the ban process. You can save me the trouble of logging in, looking you up and banning you by just not logging in if you don't want to be a member any more.
* If you're worried about the information in your profile, or your display name, then log in one last time and remove/change the information to something like "blank". You can do so by clicking the "My Stuff" link and then "Profile", "Preferences" and cancel thread subscriptions via the "subcription" link. Change your email address to something fake, like "fake+(random number)@hotmail.com.
* I
super-stongly suggest you read the post entitled
Stealth, Google and Online Privacy" to learn more about maintaining your stealth online. I know that many girls come in brand new to transition, eager to tell everyone their name is "Jane" and what they do for a living and where they live and so on... it's very exciting to live your life openly as your true self for the first time! But
THINK HARD before you reveal information that someone, someday might find via Google. If you tell everyone your name is "Jane Dohe" and you love Pekinese dogs, some day some new friend might just get bored and Google "Jane Dohe Peckinese" and find a post by you in this "transsexual" forum, and there you go.
* So think about what information you're putting out there, and evern more than that, think about the amount of work you're asking me to do to go in and remove information you've posted online yourself.
