Transgenderist Virginia Prince was born in 1912 and is still alive. Probably the oldest living person I know personally, who completed transition longest ago, is Lynn Conway. She was born in 1938 and transitioned in 1968.

Oh, is the TS community saying nice things about "Virgina" Prince again, even after the horrible things that person said about transsexual women? Or have those statements been recanted and apologized for? I must admit, I don't keep up as much as I used to.

I don't know if the TS community is saying nice things about Prince. I was just answering a question without expressing an opinion.

I know one in her late 80s.

I was leaning to their current age.

And that's cool an octogenarian.

She was in WW2, serving in the RAF, not in a plane but in a sort of naval platform that gave support to the fighters. She's explained that to me but my war terminology is lacking to really understand the exact role of that ship.

She's been married for over 60 years. Her spouse is also in her 70s, although her health is failing. They are both very sweet people, with a lot of stories to tell.

I have met one who is now 72. I am not sure when she left 21 so her age may be open. She had her srs at 68 years.

I know two in their sixties, and more approaching that age.

I enjoyed being 21 so much, I've done it twice!

As for the oldest transwoman I know...I met a woman in Montreal last year, who had her surgery just as I was being discharged. She was 66 then.
