FUCK Beginning Life! The Mod staff there give certain members there, known for caustic and damaging posts, complete free rein and ban anyone who stands up to either those caustic members or the Mods who do nothing about them. Ask Zoe why she quit as Moderator last May. Or dig up that certain other site that was created by other victims of BL shit and abuse. What used to be a beautiful site has been reduced to a high school clique. The place doesn't deserve the time of day, as far as I'm concerned.

I was a member there for close to three years before I was summarily booted with NO explanation whatsoever. I found out later it was for complaining about their Golden Child after she drove more than a few people away, as well as many of my friends. It used to be such a wonderful place to go, and I had lots of time for many people there. Only one person would come to my defence, while just about everybody else told me to 'get over it', something I'm no longer prepared to do in the face of sheer bullying. Now it's just a cesspool. I would stay well away from this place until there's substantial changes in how it's run, not to mention a lineup change or three in the Mod department.

This is like the 10th time they have changed their link. I'm not even going to bother chasing them down again.

I get all fun, frolic and merriment I can handle right here on Genderlife anyway, so who needs 'em?

I stick to only one forum, so you all can enjoy my 19,000+ posts in one place instead of looking for them all over the net.

I try to stick to this forum alone as well. But I started of on a Belgian forums before and have all my diaries there. I want to get rid of them but somehow my past got tangled up with the people's past on that forum.

I like the fact that there are only transsexuals here. On the other forum there are also transgendered people and sometimes I cannot relate to transgendered people (yeah yeah I know technically I'm transgender as well, I just don't feel it that way.)

I also spend what web-time I allocate to myself at genderlife. I've read some of the other websites, but have found this one too contain most all the info I needed to help in my transition. One thing since I transitioned I haven't been wrapped up in my computer like I had been since I bought my first computer in 84 up to 2006. I really got a life when I transitioned and found that what time I spend online I do it to better myself in my transition and the rest of the time I'm in the real world. Thanks Callie you and the other ladies have been absolute Angel's and I don't know what I would have done without genderlife. I have tried to keep things positive and informative as much I could because I would like to see all of us going through such a great metamorphosis that the rest of our new lives are that of ease and acceptance.

If I can add one last thing to illustrate the mentality of what that place has become...

Last February I was attacked online there by two individuals for the crime of showing them happy photos of happy people celebrating a happy event, a gathering in Montreal for two rounds of SRS. This pair was supposedly permanently banned. Upon my banning, they were immediately invited back. If that's not a deliberate slap in the face, I don't know what it.

Once again, I would urge anyone and everyone to stay the hell away from Beginning Life. The place is not supportive at all.

As to other forums (and specifically beginning life) I follow the rule that what goes around comes around so I try to avoid trashing any site just because I may feel it treated me poorly. I mean who knows, I may need to spend time on other sites if I can just annoy Kara enough to really draw her wrath.

Banning is one thing...I can deal with that, just as long as they have a halfway decent reason for it. But this slap in the face made it personal. I will never have anything to do with that place or anyone within it ever again, and I'll steer anyone well away from it from now on. Safe and supportive, sure...just as long as you're part of the Clique.

Just out of curiosity and I hope without offending you why were you banned? You say the slap in the face after you were banned was allowing 2 people back on the site but what did you do specifically that led to being banned?

Are you at 20,000 posts yet? I can't tell since the post counters are missing. I presume they were taken down to stop Nat and Deena from doing their post count war. Not that I think that will work. But how will we know, now, when you cross that historical 20,000 post threshold? You absolutely must count them all every day and update us.

Yes, the counters are gone. One can only hazard a guess such as yours as to the why.

An absolutely unfounded allegation on both points. Why I am surprised you would engage in such tactics as a member of the bar. I was admitted to a bar too once upon a time but the owner regretted it when he had to call a cab to take me home.

So the truth is that there was no war because Marcella always posted at a far more elevated pace. The removal of the counter probably happened because when Marcella crossed the 20K threshold the counter read 00001 and not 20001. The counter just couldn't handle the transition from 19,999 to 20,000 because it was programmed in binary logic for it's most significant digit if you get the drift.
