I think your a little wrong there, some of us are genetic females born with male genitalia and visa-versa with trans-men. That is the definition of Harry Benjamin syndrome HBS is. I have been requestin these tesat since I came out to see if I was a genetic female. If this were the situation I could get sex affirmation surgery with no difficulty at all.

If you would read what Marcella wrote you would not say she was wrong. She stated that an MTF would always be biologically male. If you are not male then you are not being discussed in her statement. I think you should get tested immediately. Pay for it yourself. Satisfy your curiosity and post an image of the results. Wouldn't it be wonderful if you are xx or xxy or even xxxy! Just remember that you would probably need to post elsewhere though because of the membership rules here (I think that is right but maybe you could stay). wink

I do hope you choose to exercise it, because your denunciation of Mr. Beattie's choice to raise a child is something I will never agree with and makes me feel like this:

Mahatma Ghandi, though a devout Hindu, was widely known to admire Jesus; Ghandi often quoted from the Sermon on the Mount, in fact. Once when the missionary E. Stanley Jones met with Ghandi he asked him, "Mr. Ghandi, though you quote the words of Christ often, why is that you appear to so adamantly reject becoming his follower?"
Ghandi replied, "Oh, I don't reject your Christ. I love your Christ. It's just that so many of you Christians are so unlike your Christ."

Why would I have to post elsewhere, as of the moment I am a MTF transsexual. That is the requirement for being a member of this forum. If I could afford to cover the genetic test I would, but these test are very expensive and if a member of this fourmn did find out that chromosomally they where a female with HBS why would we exclude that person from the support this forum offers since they are in the relatively same boat as the rest of us girls. Just because we would be reaffirming our genetic sex with Sex Affirmation Surgery SAS instead of Sex Reassignment Surgery SRS.

In order to be a MTF you have to be a M to begin with. If you are indeed intersex, then you are NOT MTF. Some definitions allow for an intersex person to be a "transsexual person," but NOT an MTF (or FTM).

Is not rocket science.

Also, the high number of folks around who after transition claim to be "XXY" and even "XX" strikes me as impossible.

You cannot be a "XX male" or "XXY" for decades without noticing something is wrong with you, at the physiological level.

That people who looked like average men start claiming they were indeed "XXY" all the time is something I find ridiculous.

A karyotyping test is $200, by the way.

Yarly, these conditions have some pretty strong symptoms.
There is no fracking way you could be XXY or XX if you're a stout, hairy, large handed, large footed, fetile man.
