Jill, how much is advertising on ur site? I have alot of experience trucking and was thinking of calling a couple of the bigger companies to see if they would be interested in adver on ur site and acting as a rep if that's ok. I know there are quite a few compnies out there that have T's already working for them and if it's approached right to them they may be interested in actively recruiting experienced quality trucker T's. Let me know what you thing of the idea. Thanks, Tat

I don't run ads on the site. They're welcome to post jobs at no cost just like everyone else though! I hope to have one or two sponsors in the future that may have small reserved ads on the front page, but I'm not looking for advertisers or to make money by running ads.

It would be nice if the Truck Driving companies posted on the site. It won't cost them anything and they may find some takers!

From Donna Rose's Blog yesterday . . .

"I continue to believe that the thing that remains unaddressed, but that is so fundamentally important, is actually getting qualified trans-people hired for jobs. I don’t want to downplay the importance of passing supportive policy, but if companies aren’t hiring anyone who can take advantage of them it’s little more than symbolic, and is actually misleading. Some are counting on ENDA to change things, but that’s not something any of us can count on right now. So, it’s important to fill that need in other ways.

Others see this significant gap, as well, and are working to fill it. Jillian Barfield has been working on a transgender specific Job Site and recently sent and email indicating that it’s up and operational: TJobBank.com. All in all, it’s gratifying to see that there is movement on this critical work."

That's great news, keep up the good work and I'm sure many positives will come from your efforts. Thank you.
