Mahatma Ghandi, though a devout Hindu, was widely known to admire Jesus; Ghandi often quoted from the Sermon on the Mount, in fact. Once when the missionary E. Stanley Jones met with Ghandi he asked him, "Mr. Ghandi, though you quote the words of Christ often, why is that you appear to so adamantly reject becoming his follower?"
Ghandi replied, "Oh, I don't reject your Christ. I love your Christ. It's just that so many of you Christians are so unlike your Christ."

Thank you for the grammar correction mis amiga.

I guess that is one of the inherent problems when you learn a foreign language from an 8 year old.

Thank you Deena. blush

A good friend of mine who has just gone full time took it. If you look, you'll see there is a hand on my left shoulder. That hand belongs to another GL girl, Morrigan, who posts here rather infrequently.

Morrigan used to post very frequently but has rather vanished lately. Your avatar regressed. What caused the change of heart?

Morrigan is a very kind and thoughtful woman who was on the receiving end of some nasty flames, and I think she felt it wasn't worth the drama to share her opinions.

I'm not sure what you meant by regressed, but several things prompted the change in the avatar. I finally felt comfortable enough to 'show my face' around here, and I've noticed that for the first time in my life, I have had a natural smile on my face when photographed, not a smirk, or a faked smile, or no smile at all.

BTW, I love the tiger!
