Thank you Deena.  A good friend of mine who has just gone full time took it. If you look, you'll see there is a hand on my left shoulder. That hand belongs to another GL girl, Morrigan, who posts here rather infrequently.

Morrigan is a very kind and thoughtful woman who was on the receiving end of some nasty flames, and I think she felt it wasn't worth the drama to share her opinions.
I'm not sure what you meant by regressed, but several things prompted the change in the avatar. I finally felt comfortable enough to 'show my face' around here, and I've noticed that for the first time in my life, I have had a natural smile on my face when photographed, not a smirk, or a faked smile, or no smile at all.
BTW, I love the tiger!
