Yup, I get this with tea, generally the stronger the worse it is - and I don't get it with herbal or green tea's at all - i suspect that my stomach doesn't like the tannin.

I tend to have either green teas or lighter ceylon types in the house - I don't drink black tea at all.

If you drink green tea and it doesn't affect you as much, chances are you've developed an allergy to the tannins in tea. There's no real cure for that, although sometimes it just goes away as it started.

A quick fix is adding some ginger shavings to your tea, or eating something with ginger right after. That works for many people.

Upon further reflection, the first time I can remeber having a strong naseuos reaction to tea was a VERY strong iced green tea with blackberry and jasmine.

His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
Jesus answered, "Neither he nor his parents sinned; it is so that the works of God might be made visible through him. "
John 9:2-3

Mahatma Ghandi, though a devout Hindu, was widely known to admire Jesus; Ghandi often quoted from the Sermon on the Mount, in fact. Once when the missionary E. Stanley Jones met with Ghandi he asked him, "Mr. Ghandi, though you quote the words of Christ often, why is that you appear to so adamantly reject becoming his follower?"
Ghandi replied, "Oh, I don't reject your Christ. I love your Christ. It's just that so many of you Christians are so unlike your Christ."

I suspect that combination would give me nausea.
