Oh no, another Americans vs. European thread! LOL.
Europe has a lot of little countries because they cannot live with each other. It's just a matter of time before they start with the bombs again, mark my words. European Union or what not, it's been tried before. I give it other two decades at most, before they get bored with peace and say, "screw this, let's kill!"
Not that there's anything wrong with that. Natural selection at its best.
Countries? I've never done tourism. Whenever I move somewhere, it's to work with the locals and live there. So I've only lived in five countries in my life: Peru (Lima, Ica, Arequipa, Iquitos), Ecuador (Machala), Chile (Arica), USA (Houston, Paterson) and Canada (Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria). 12 cities in total (although in Houston it was for less than a month).

Limited travel for me (wish it was more):
Canada Mexico Korea Japan Hong Kong
Of course many people in the US seem to think Hawaii is like a foreign country. The culture here is quite different than any other US state. Of course I've only been to 15 other states (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Virginia and North Carolina).
