Right now she has a whole series of videos up from the National Women's Studies Association 2008 Conference. They detail the controversy around disgraced Northwestern professor J. Michael Bailey's transphobic book "The Man Who Would Be Queen", and co-worker Alice Dreger's support and subsequent attacks against people who disagreed with Bailey's book.

Andrea's paper at the conference and her delivery of it were both excellent. It is great that she took the time to post her paper and the videos of her presentation on the web for everyone to share. I greatly appreciate Andrea's many and various efforts throughout the past decade and more. People like Andrea give me the comfort that people are around battling back against the exploitationists like Bailey. Her efforts help give me some measure of comfort living my ordinary, everyday, private, peaceful, thankful, life.

Actually, anyone who has read tsroadmap.com thoroughly knows that Andrea's middle name is Jean, even if that is a good trivia test question. Andrea mentions her middle name on tsroadmap.com in the section of created a new name, along with a pun joke about the sound of the name Andrea Jean James when the words spoken quickly together.
