Hmm...I started DIY. And it wasn't for a lack of insurance it was for a lack of time. When I was ready I was ready and I couldn't wait for anyone to give me an ok. And more importantly, unless you live in certain metropolitan areas, with or without insurance, many medical professionals don't know enough about HRT to provide proper care and to prescribe proper regimens.

I know by the time I made it to the doctor she was impressed with my knowledge and the program I set for myself. She simply prescribed what I'd already been taking.

Every situation is different. I was completey happy with hormones from online purchasing. And sometimes DIY can be cheaper than insurance.

DIY is a wonderful option.
