Yet another instance here in Canada where, on paper, you're protected, but in reality you're not. They have played Kristen like a fiddle, telling her first that she needed international competitions to qualify, after that she needed better times, after that she needed to pass several extra medical exams, and all along delaying things until the last minute when nothing can be done. It's typical of things here.

They just ignored her communications and then say stuff like "oh, but you didn't tell us!" It's so typical of Canadian bureaucracy, that they can lie like that with a straight face.
