OMG! Now I understand the problem. Uhmm - perhaps those directions should have been a bit more specific. "Open top. Pour small amount into palm of hand. Set bottle down. Use only what is still in hand not what remains in bottle."

In my defense, the bottle does say "Directions: Thoroughly massage Crude Oil into hair and scalp with fingertips. Leave on for 30-45 minutes, then rinse with Crude Oil Hair Rinse." Nothing about what fits in my hand. And they surely don't specify what size hands either.

I know you said I should only use what fits into the palm of my hand, but I didn't remember that when I was reading the directions on the bottle and desperately trying not to get oil all over the place.

I now know I did use too much, probably 1 1/2 tablespoons, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.....

Oh well it won't kill you unless you drink it.
