A very, very old lullaby from Spain. There are dozens of versions of the lyrics, but this is the only one on YouTube so...

A la nanita nana, by The Cheetah Girls.

I've heard that. I liked the way my friend from Mexico used to sing it. Like my friend from Germany who also sings this one, she's a baritone.

Actually, that song is one of the few Medieval songs still sung regularly. It has about 800 years of history behind it. To have survived that long, it must strike the right chords in a lot of people.

My fave version is the symphonic one, by Franck Pourcel. They play the intro with several flutes, the strophe with a harpsichord, and the violins are used to mark the refrain. Lovely.

Okay this one took me less time to learn on the real guitar (rhythm guitar only) than it did on Guitar Hero 2... go figure... that game is frickin' hard.

Wow. I was like 15 when that song came out. Thanks for the memories Kara! :)

Clinton Fearon, Feel the Spirit (I danced to this one in a great choreography about two years ago, it was the most fun song ever to dance to!)

John Travolta was great!! I love musicals, and I suggest, nay highly recommend, you see Hairspray. This was the most mainstream John Waters ever gets.
