LOL. Actually Finns have the same habits. Instead of that Majstång pole we have a bonfire. And of course a Finnic language. Some say that Swedes are actually Germanized Finns, and they have stolen their flag from Turku/Åbo Castle in Finland, that flag is from the coat of arms of the Finland Proper.
This is called "tekemisen meininki", the meaning of doing or the opposite (sarcasm intended)
