I was just wondering if anyone knows of ways to speed up the hair shedding process after a laser hair removal treatment on ones face?

I read somewhere I forget where that scrubbing the shit out of your face will encourage the hairs to fall out? I want them out!

lol why I gotta wait for a couple weeks to notice them start falling out?

I also read somewhere that some people wax after a laser treatment like a week or so after so that all the hair that was current will be ripped out and only new growth growing anagen hairs will come through next for the next session?

Is this wise? It kinda makes sense to me?

I had my first laser session with the coolglide laser. I just wanna shed! ewww I feel like a furry animal waiting to shed its winter coat or worse a insect waiting to shed its disgusting skin lmao.

Any suggestions?

I still dont really understand why the hairs take so long to natural fall out after a laser session I would have thought that after being fried theyd fall out almost straight away or itleast within the first few days of a laser treatment?

My technician was impressed when we started alot of the hair under my jaw line were "flying out" when being zapped. I dont know if thats a good thing, It sounded like a good thing to me. But I wonder maybe were they dead hairs? I know they are the weaker hairs compared to the rest for me personaly not as thick or rooted.

Arrrgh Im happy to have started the process but arrrgh whys it gotta be so drawn out?

In my head Im hearing the saying "nothing worthwhile comes easy" but come on!

I wish I had my own laser machine lol it would be so awesome not a cheap DIY one no I want my own COOLGLIDE! lol

anyways any tips or advice insight? Share much? smile

Thanks for reading xo

I'm afraid all I used to do was just to shave. In the shower, exfoliate gently, shave, and use moisturiser.

Dunno why they take so long to come out - I suspect something to do with the bulb breaking down - but shaving doesn't slow them down - Scrubbing too hard can damage the skin and waxing will prolly take out live hairs too - which means those live hairs will come back later.

okies fank you EmmaMarie & Marcella smile

Guess Im just hella impaitent lol.

You know one thing I've often wondered was you know how I think it's Dr supporn like scrapes all the hair follicles out of the scrotal skin before using it to extend ones punani...

I wonder if that could be done for facial hair... I mean I know having ones face peeled off and scraped underneath to be rid of facial hair sounds extreme but if its a one off thing and the face goes back on and heals well without any real movement then maybe it could be a instant fix?

Maybe Im extreme I dont know. I guess like many I just want it all done and pain and suffering compared to looking like any sort of a resemblence of a boy really doesnt phase me. Another story when in the process... Thinking out loud ok off to find something else interesting on here to read...

Thanking youze!

My understanding of that process they actually take the 'skin' off and do it remotely. Faces are a bit more complex than scrotum's. But yeah, I get the impatience, I'm not fully done - but being broke and a student, well, needs must.

After my first laser session I couldn't wait for them to fall out but had to! What I really hated was they were now burnt to a crisp, darker and harder. VERY hard to shave and I had a constant shadow.

I just grinned and bared it. And oh was it so worth the wait! I go for round two this Tuesday and I don't expect it to be as bad. But there will be that two week waiting period!

Hi all
I got rid of my hair post laser by pluck them out so 2 days after the laser and the skin has recoverd and sorness had dies down i would get a magnifying mirror and spend hours plucking the dead burnt hair out one by one it did help as i found shaving didnt work.

not had to shave for 4 years now

Hope this helps any one

Emma

Yeah, I did that, too, EC. It's great when you can just barely grab the hairs with tweezers and they pretty much just fall out. I've got one or two laser treatments left for the goatee part of my face, which are the most stubborn hairs on our faces, then I'll go strictly to electrolysis for the relatively few thick white/blond facial hairs. (I've only had a total 4 facial treatments with the "Alexandrite" laser, so it definitely works!)

I've had the shaft/scrotum/anal area done only twice, and they're just about all permanently gone. Next time, I'm also getting ALL of the above-groin bush hairs treated, too. NO BIKINI WAXES NEEDED FOR ME, in the near future! laugh
