I've had two facial hair laser sessions thus far, and I "think" I notice a difference.
I'm also starting the pubic hair laser removal in five weeks, preparing for GCS in about a year's time. Cool good on you Rachel I've only had one laser session so far. Booked in for my next session next month. Could you at all shed some light on what the shedding process is like? Like do you actually notice the hairs falling out of your face? What actually happens? What is noticeable exactly? Im so curious and terribly impaitent in the mirror 10 times a day with my face almost pressed up against the mirror fogging the glass up with my nostrills haha classy. Also eek your brave but you gotta do what you gotta do huh re genital laser. GOOD LUCK! Heck, since I've only been two times, I really don't know. It kind of seems like the hairs on my chin may be a little less thick, but this may just be wishful thinking. These effer's who are deceiving consumers into thinking that all the money they're spending is not in vain need to be murdered in front of their very children so the kids don't perpetuate such capitalistic crimes against humanity. Unbridled capitalism so pisses me off; I'm ready to go to class war—death, destruction and everything—over it. You think I'm kiddin'?

We shed hairs on a daily basis.Once the hair's blood supply is destroyed by laser, electro or through the normal growth cycle of the hair it becomes a foreign object and the bodies natural course of action is to eject/expel it by slowly moving it to the surface. Most likely you are still shaving and it appears the hairs are untreated until the body works them close enough to the surface to fall out.

I mostly agree .First the operator needs to explain the 3 stages of the growth cycle of a hair,telegen,anagen,and catagen. The ideal stage to destory the blood supply to the follicle is in the anagen stage of growth.Telegen ,the hair is restarting the growth cycle and for the most part not visible.Catagen, the hair is pulling away from the blood supply and it is the blood supply you are trying destroy. It is nearly impossible for the operator to determine what stage the hair they are treating is at before treating.No electrologist has a 100% kill rate during a session.The most I can hope for is in the 80->90% range. Another factor is how have you been dealing with the hairs , shaving, plucking or chemical.
You are partially right on the use of electrical current in the galvanic process to destroy the blood supply.The electrical current combines with the moisture and salts in your skin to form sodium hydroxide (lye).It is purely a chemical treatment with no "cooking" involved. It is an extremely slow modality and usually requires a muti-needle unit.The only unit I have ever seen was the one I used in the college I atended. You can help the effectiveness of your treatment by drinking plenty of water to hydrate your skin.
Blend is just as it sounds. The combination of galvanic and thermolysis.And it CAN be as damaging as straight thermolysis or flash. Definately stay away from flash electrolysis. It is least effective of the 3 modalities.The only time I use flash is for non-permanent hair removal like 2 clients I have now. They are having me create a heart shape for Valentines in the pubic area <3 for their boyfriend/girlfriend.Damn I like my job.
