Non-virtual life keeps taking up all my time; I think it's an addiction or something! You know, the thrill of the actual job hunt, pretending to be myself to people I only meet face-to-face, all the activities you can do in physical space. It just leaves no time for the realities of cyber-space! wink

Seriously, life has been pretty busy; lost my job in June and living off unemployment while I send out dozens of applications and resumes, social activities at church, spending time with my family, political activiites with the local Dem party, gearing up for the new season at the community theater, the occasional trans-support meeting. So other than a tight budget, life has been pretty good.

I just find it harder and harder to find the time to post lately. I work as a paralegal in a law firm, plus have a side paralegal business, and do my Pampered Chef business. That plus my social life, housekeeping, etc keeps me pretty busy. But I am still here and still meowing.

I still come and go. I still don't have internet at my own house, so the little online time I do get usually goes to the forums that are more active. That, and I tend to get bored quickly discussing trans-related issues.

I see that nobody missed me. wink I think the reasons I've drifted away have been covered already. My transition needs (for now) have been met, I'm focusing on joining the "collective" and need to focus my social energy in non-trans related topics, then yeah, there's that thing called trying to survive. It was easy to kill time here after coming home from my 8-5 job, but when I had to work for myself, coming here would take up all my time.

I do miss the wonderful discussions we had here. smile This is where I grew up. cry

But, I've been here more frequently recently. smile

I work.
I support active duty military members that realize that they're Transgendered and in the military. That takes a lot out of me.

Sometimes I sleep.

I don't remember the forum being this dead last year when I checked back in. Seems pretty dead now.
