I like Claire Dane's Emmy gown the most.

- its beaded fabric was off the charts.
- its form fitting shape was wonderful.
- its simple strapless elegance and small train were marvelous.

Pics from IMDb won't show.

I liked Calire's, but I also liked Cheryl Burke's. Her dress would look better on someone a bit taller and a bit more endowed, though:

Its nice when the award shows get back to sleek classic gowns and stop the over the top shoulder ruffles and other silliness that generally just looks hideous, like most of the ill conceived stuff Felicity Huffman wears.

Tonight's many fitted, strapless, columns of organza and chiffon are the stuff.

Alas, I only own three gowns, each one purchased for specific occasions, as I imagine most are. It sure is nice to spend major dollars to show up looking regal to a formal affair. Too bad there are so few formal gatherings in modern culture. It is nice to get all gussied up once in a while.

I like the gown below as well. I like the way it is fitted, and that its statement is in tiny details, like the bias cut of the fabric. The dress below is everything a gown should be, IMO.

But imagine trying to deal with that train all night.

Oh I can do that too. Right click, copy and paste. But they show for you because you have them in your cache.

Basically, anyone coming to this page and loading it won't see the IMDb pics unless they do the right-button trick.

Yeah, the ones with a train seem like too much bother, actually, even though a couple were nice.
